STEAM Integration

STEAM integration ensures students have access to interdisciplinary real-

world projects. The use of technology throughout the STEAM and

Engineering Design process helps student to work collaboratively and

more efficiently while also providing an outlet for creativity.


Digital Promise

Computational Thinking Collaboratives

Digital Promise Global received a three-year, $1 million grant from the National Science

Foundation to address equitable access to computational education in public schools. Our

school system, along with two others in the nation, are creating a K-12 pathways in order to

prepare a broad, diverse pipeline of students to use computing knowledge and skills in career

and college opportunities.


Digital Promise/Google/CoSN

Rolling Study Halls

Rolling Study Halls extends learning before and after school by providing students

with WiFi access on the school bus along with an instructional leader to provide

tutoring on-board. Students complete homework assignments, work on projects,

or read their favorite book while traveling to and from school. Student use of

technology devices in transit is not only allowed but encouraged.


Makerspaces

We are committed to renovating and repurposing school library spaces

in our schools to give students opportunities and resources to create,

tinker, and engage in the engineering design process to solve problems

and create innovative products.

Our goal for Career Tech is to connect our students with community and

higher education partners to engage in real world learning opportunities.
