Attendees Training Manual
Campus Engagement Week November 2nd –6th, 2020
Live speakers each day from 2:00pm - 3:30pm PST Booth representatives available each day Before Live Session: 12:00PM - 1:30PM PST After Live Session: 4:00PM - 5:30PM PST
Getting Started
This manual aims to guide you so you can make the most of your participation in the Campus Engagement
Week. The manual will elaborate on how you can Log in as a candidate.
Main Page
Type in the URL: https://genentech.vfairs.com/ in the address bar of your browser to visit the online venue
or Virtual platform. We recommend that you use either Chrome or Firefox for best performance.
Registration
To register as an Attendee, click on “Login” and then click on “New User, Register Now”
Or alternatively please click on “Register Now.
Fill in the registration form and click on ‘Register’.
A confirmation message will appear confirming your registration on the Campus Engagement Week.
Additionally, an email will be sent out to you on your email address with your login information.
Log-in
To login to the Event, you need to click on ‘Login’ tab.
Enter your Email address, then click on “Log In”.
Navigating through the Event
Lobby
The first page that appears once you login to your account is the Lobby. Click on the Exhibit Hall to view all
booths.
All exhibitor booths can be seen within the exhibit hall view.
Clicking on booth name will redirect you to the full booth view. This view will be different for each booth:
1. Description: A brief profile of the company, their history, operations and scope is advertised to help you
learn more about this exhibitor.
2. Videos & Documents : View different videos & documents uploaded by the exhibitor.
3. Content Tabs: You can click on these tabs or buttons to visit pages and information the exhibitor has
shared with you. These tabs are customized for each exhibitor.
4. Chat: Clicking on Chat tab will take you to the chat area where you can have a chat with booth reps of
each booth.
In the main navigation bar, you will find some features, let’s go through all the available features one-by-
one:
1. Video Vault: Click on the “Video Vault” tab on the top navigation bar and a popup will open that
contains the list of Videos from all booths. Click on the “Play” button to watch the Video. Select the booth
from the drop down to display videos from selected booth only.
2. Resources: Under this option, you can view all the documents uploaded to the platform by exhibitors
such as ‘Online Brochures / Media Kits…etc.’
From this list, you can choose to view any document by clicking on “View”.
3. Swag Bag: It is your virtual briefcase, as you go through documents in the event; you can add them to
your virtual swag bag. The idea is to help you save these in the virtual bag so that you can view them later.
These documents can also be emailed so if you would like to email these documents to your email address,
you can choose these documents by clicking on the checkbox next to each document and click on “Email”.
4. Auditorium: Through this option, you will be able to view any videos / live sessions. Click on the screen
and it will show you the list of sessions.
