MONDAY: MEYER KATZPER: 1:30 PM Chuck’s Room - We will study chapter 5 of Mishle with the commentary of (the 19th century) Rabbi Meir Leibush (Malbim). Malbim’s Bible commentary's aim was to show that the teachings of the Talmud are contained in the Five Books of Moses. An interpretive principle he held was that in the text of the Torah and the figurative language of the prophets there are no synonyms repetitions, rather each poetic rephrase has its own meaning.  TUESDAY:

 RABBI OVADIA: 7:20PM (Please note diff time. Class will begin right after Maariv) - Bobrow Chapel “Understanding the Sources of Jewish Halacha.”
