This week we will be looking at knowing God. Our reading is from Isaiah 40: 9-31. Come and join us as we share fellowship together. Contact Bill for any further informaon at 01764 430260 or [email protected] Chrismon Coffee and Cake: Why not come along this coming Wednesday morning 27th September to the Church Centre between 10am and 12 noon and meet with all those who are interested in making Chrismons for the Chrismon Tree at Christmas? A chance to see beauful work already done and to find out how to make different ones. Also to enjoy coffee, cake and a chat. Noces: 1. There will be a short service celebrang Holy Communion immediately aſter the main service, in the side aisle, today. Do join us if you can. 2. At a meeng of the kirk session last Monday evening the maers arising from Rob and Gwens forthcoming departure were discussed. As a result of that review we have idenfied a number of tasks where new volunteers would be most necessary and welcome. Some are included with your service sheet, and there are sheets on the table at the back of church which give opportunity to indicate your willingness to help with these tasks. Thank you. 3. Next Sunday 1 st October the service will be led by Rev Iain Paton 4. On Sunday 8 th October we will be following a Harvest Thanksgiving theme, led by Rev Rob Barlow.

    A few additional drivers are being sought to help with the newly acquired church bus. There is a list on a clipboard on the table at the back of the church. If you could help with this from time to time. please add your name. Please note, all you need is a D1 license, you do not need a Midas certificate. For more information please speak to Rob.

    Samaritan Purse - Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box Appeal 2017

    Auchterarder Parish Church have been supporting this Appeal for many years. Please join us this year and help us to give hope to children who don't have the home comforts and privileges enjoyed by our own families. Small toys, school supplies and hygiene items bring pleasure to children who live in difficult conditions and have nothing. Explanatory leaflets with a list of gift suggestions, unwanted items and the necessary labels for the boxes, are available at the back of the Church. It is

    important that you read them carefully. We would like to receive your boxes by 29th October at the very latest so that they can be sent to the checking station before delivery to the final drop off point.

    10:10 Walk – Sunday 1 October

    Circular walk of Loch Freuchie in Glen Quaich (12.5km, approximate duration 3 hours plus 40 minutes travel time in each direction)

    Start and end point, car park at Amulree Village Hall just off A822 at Amulree

    Sunday 1st October 2017 - meet 1pm outside Auchterarder Parish Church (good weather permitting)

    This walk is mainly flat, along landrover track and a paved road so should be suitable for all walking abilities. Wear walking boots and a warm jacket, pack a waterproof and bring drinks and snacks to consume en route. I'll carry a first aid kit and have walking poles if anyone would like them. Dogs welcome as long as they are kept on a lead.
