Motion by Meiners, second by Schettler to approve the agenda as presented. On roll call, all voted aye. The Board of Supervisors of Carroll County, Iowa met in regular adjourned session in the Board-room of the Courthouse, in Car-roll, Iowa, the County seat of said County on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. Daylight Saving Time pursuant to law, the rules of said Board and to the adjournment with all members present: Neil Bock, District 1; Dean Schettler, District 2; Eugene Meiners, District 3; Stephanie Hausman, District 4; and Richard Ruggles, District 5.

Motion by Meiners, second by Schettler to approve the agenda as presented. On roll call, all voted aye. Motion by Hausman, second by Bock to approve the minutes of the October 21, 2019 meeting as written. On roll call, all voted aye.

Shannon Landauer met with the board on behalf of the Carroll Area Development Corporation. Landauer updated the Board on the following: continued housing efforts, people recruitment, quality of place, Alcohology Tours, shovel ready site projects, Western Iowa Advantage Partnership, and labor shed update.

Motion by Meiners, second by Ruggles to approve payment of payables as presented. On roll call, all voted aye.

Motion by Ruggles, second by Schettler to approve County Treasurer’s Resolution to Name Depositories in the County. On a roll call vote, Bock, aye; Ruggles, aye; Schettler, aye; Hausman, aye; Meiners, aye. Motion carried unanimously

RESOLUTION NAMING DEPOSI-TORIES

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors of Carroll County, in Carroll County, Iowa, approves the following list of fi-nancial institutions to be deposi-tories of the Carroll County funds in conformance with all applicable provisions of Iowa Code Chapters 12B and 12C of the Code of Iowa. The Carroll County Treasurer, Jean Seidl, is hereby authorized to de-posit the Carroll County funds in amounts not to exceed the maxi-mum approved for each respec-tive financial institution as set out below.
