14-24 are that buy grime magazines.

What were you representing-can they tell you who it is aimed at?

“I think the magazine is aimed at young people that like the grime culture and music scene and like the style.”

“The girls on the front cover are wearing tracksuits jackets, jeans and trainers as most young people into grime music would also wear this.”

Did you like the house style of the magazine?

“Yes, because it could relate to both boys and girls and the colours are linked with the grime genre, as lots of popular tracksuits today are made with the colours blue, white and grey.”

What was the most striking element of your magazine?

“The central image and the front cover stood out the most to me because it was bright, and took center stage of the magazine which made it clear who the magazine was about.”

Would you buy the magazine?

“Yeah, because it had music artist that I like init that are well known in grime and the cover of the magazine attracted me cause of the style and the colours used on the front cover because it looked professionally made.”

What are the most positive points?

“The images taken in my magazine were clear and had different effects which made it stand out from other magazines.”

“I thought the double page spread layout made it different to other magazines and the article resembled real articles.”

What did you think of the images and the construction of the star persona the image?

“I thought the images were clear, but on the double page spread it didn’t relate fully to the grime genre. And the construction of my star persona looked realistic to a real grime girl group.”

What could you improve?

“I think that you could improve the writing on the front cover so it will look more realistic, also the double page spread could improve because in some places looked empty and felt like it was missing something.”
