2. After watching the first five minutes of our documentary would you be interested in watching the rest and why? 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 YES NO After looking at the results its clear to see that people would be interested in watching the rest of our documentary. The reasons being : It was interesting. It seems like something I would enjoy watching. It was really informative. This shows that we chose the right target audience of 16-34 year olds as they all enjoyed watching it. 3. Do you think our documentary has similarities to professional documentaries and why? Do you think the voice over represents the documentary? Therefore we have succeeded in applying this code and convention to our own work. The female voice anchored the topic well. 5. What do you think are the strengths and weaknesses of the documentary? Number of People Profesional Clear voice over Mise en scene Relevant Cutaways Good Title sequence Good Links From this feedback it clearly showed people enjoyed the documentary as there was no negative feedback. The strengths pointed out by the viewers were similar to typical codes and conventions of professional documentaries therefore our product is of a high standard and follows codes and conventions. 6. On a scale of 1-5 ( 1 being the least and 5 being the most) please rate the documentary on the following aspects: Entertaining Editing 0 1 2 3 4 5 Number of People Number of People The audience scored us 4 on entertainment or professionalism on the documentary, this may be due to personal preference or it could show us were we could of improved to gain a wider audience. However, on other aspects the audience rated the documentary a 5 which showed we succeeded in following some codes and conventions of a professional magazine. 7. Would the radio trailer make you want to watch the documentary? From this I have learnt that the radio trailer has fulfilled its purpose and helped me gain a wider audience. 8. What do you think is the strengths and weaknesses of the Print Advert? Strengths and Weaknesses Relevamce Good Concept Hash Tag Colour Scheme Image Editing Represents BBC3 Positioning of Model Title Positioning From this question we learnt what went well with the print advert and what could be done better. The audience particularly liked the Colour scheme which showed we represented the topic well with the colour scheme but also made it eye catching. We also learnt that aspects of the print advert could be worked on such as the editing of the image and represented the BBC3 more clearly. 9. Would the print advert make you want to watch the documentary? Do you think the image on the print advert works well? From this we can learn that we chose a good eye catching main image that fits with BBC3s ideologies, our documentary and the target audience. It worked well as the audience were drawn to the main image. 11. Did the slogan work well with the theme of the documentary? From this we learnt that a catchy slogan thats related to the topic really does grab the attention of the audience and encourage the best possible viewing figures. 12. From this I have learnt by following codes and conventions carefully It is noticed by the audience therefore its important as we want to widest audience possible. We have reached the requirements of a print advert. 13. Do you think all 3 products work well together?
