Fire Calls Hoopeston Fire Department was called at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday to the 300 block of West Maple for an acti-vated carbon monoxide detector. The detector was found to need new batteries.

Jordan Pratt, 30, of Ridge Farm, was arrested at 1:55 a.m. Wednesday in connection with a residential burglary reported at 10:22 p.m. Tuesday. Police said a 33-year-old Hoopeston woman reported Tuesday that someone was or had been in her home in the 800 block of North Sixth St. She alleged the person was Pratt, who was found and arrested on an initial charge of driving while license revoked. While Pratt was being processed, a phone stolen from the woman’s home was allegedly found on him, leading to a charge of resi-dential burglary. Pratt was taken to the Public Safety Building in Dan-ville to await arraignment. Joseph D. Henry, 41, of Hoopeston was arrested at
