WELCOME TO FIRST BAPTISTI waited patiently for the Lord;I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me and heard my cry.And He inclined to me and heard my cry.He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay,He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay,And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm. And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm.He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God;He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God;Many will see and fearMany will see and fearAnd will trust in the Lord. (Ps. 40:1-3)And will trust in the Lord. (Ps. 40:1-3) God is bringing us up and out this morning to somewhere new, somewhere holy. If we would God is bringing us up and out this morning to somewhere new, somewhere holy. If we would but cry out to His name we will have our mourning turned into dancing and our wail turned but cry out to His name we will have our mourning turned into dancing and our wail turned into a melody of praise. Will you cry out to the Lord with us? Will you let Him pick you up into a melody of praise. Will you cry out to the Lord with us? Will you let Him pick you up and experience the Spirit of God today?and experience the Spirit of God today?

Sing for joy in the LORD, O you righteous ones; praise is becoming to the upright. Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre; sing praises to Him with a harp of ten strings. Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a shout of joy. For the word of the LORD is upright, and all His work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the lovingkindness of the LORD.

DEAR PARENTS Here at FBCSA, we feel that it is important that kids attend a worship service with their families. As a parent, it is of utmost importance that you model and train your kids in their Christian walk. There is no better way to model corporate worship then to show your kids what it looks like to participate in worship, to listen eagerly, and to pray intently. As you gather here at FBCSA today, we want to partner with you and give you tools to disciple your family. Sitting still in worship can be difficult, even for the most dedicated church-goer, but especially for our youngest attenders. This booklet is designed to help your kids listen a little more closely and to help develop habits of participating during church services. This book is specifically intended for kids age four to around age six. He or she may need your help in navigating the pages. The format will be the same each week as you encourage your kids to listen closely and follow along with the service. Most importantly, after the services conclude, be sure to talk about the things your child learned throughout the morning, whether it be in the car on the way home, at lunch or dinner, or at any other time during the week. Be sure to ask them follow up questions, like, “Can you tell me about this drawing?” or “What words did you hear the pastor say today while he preached?” This will help solidify their learning and comprehension as you discuss the morning and the things God was telling you. God bless you and your family as you worship today. We are glad that you are here! Now, enjoy worshipping together as a family and blessings upon you as you grow in God’s Word together!

LISTEN CLOSELY!

Today, you might hear some of the words below. When you hear them, color in the shape next to the word!

Shout for joy, O daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, O Israel! Rejoice and exult with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem! The LORD has taken away His judgments against you, He has cleared away your enemies. The King of Israel, the LORD, is in your midst; you will fear disaster no more. In that day it will be said to Jerusalem: “Do not be afraid, O Zion; do not let your hands fall limp. “The LORD your God is in your midst, a victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.
