Children’s First Academy is an indepen-dently owned and operated after school and summer camp program, 1st place of its kind in the Riverview area. Children’s First Academy has been in business since August of 2006. We specialize in “Academic Enrichment” w h i c h comprises a strong homework assistance program, quiz and test preparation, slight tutoring, and mentorship. Our program is very affordable; we keep our tuition low, and our quality high. We have a wonderful, qualified, and consistent staff. They are passionate about what they do and are committed to our children. We have created an “environment of learning”, which means that it’s contagious to be “smart” at Children’s First Academy. Our students strive to be successful in the classroom and in life. They work hard to resolve any and all issues that may be blocking their success. We work with a wide variety of students. Some of our students easily excel academically while others need a moderate amount of help to succeed. Our program has also had great success with children diag-nosed with ADD, ADHD, and High Functioning Autism. We have a wonderful population of students where everyone fits in. We have helped children struggling academically to become honor roll students. Children that were having issues maintaining good behavior in school and other after school facilities have become socially successful and productive. Our philosophy is simple. We understand there are individual challenges that each child faces. We work with each child as an individual and address their own needs, create a sense of worth, and go the extra mile to spur them on to success. We are also dedicated to establishing supportive parent involvement. We are currently enrolling for the 2012/2013 school year. We accept students ranging in age from Pre-K(4) to 8th Grade. Many of our older students have been here since we’ve opened our doors. They offer a wonderful peer mentoring situation for our younger students. What is SIA Ministries?SIA is an outreach ministry of New Berean Church.S.I.A. Stands for Sozo In Action. Sozo is Greek for “rescue”. Jesus Christ rescued us from the wrath of God. In Him, God provided a perfect sacrifice for us. He is our provider. That's what Sozo In Action is all about. The long term goal of SIA Ministry is to provide free help for counseling, housing, hot meals, etc. Currently the ministry is comprised of the Food Pantry and Clothes Boutique, in the name of our Great Provider-Jesus.

For those in need:What is the process to receive free food and clothing?SIA's food pantry and clothes boutique is open on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30pm.We ask for the following:1. Valid photo ID2. One recent utility bill with same address as ID3. Information form filled out4. View a ten minute film (sharing good news) All guest are welcome to return every 14 days for food and every 30 days for clothing.

Donations:We welcome your donations: grocery items, cleaning items, personal products, baby items and monetary donations. They can be dropped off on Wednesdays at 5:00 pm.
