Wow! The summer of 2015 has been amazing, busy, and life changing. The high school kicked off the summer by sending 17 students and 9 adults to Nicaragua. Our mission was to con-struction a building for a growing church. It was hard, rocky, and dirty but through God's grace we accomplished our mission. The second, and no less important, mission was the "discipleship bootcamp" that happens as you are stretched for outside your comfort and culture.
God taught each of us so much about trusting Him, loving each other, and living in community. I want to give a giant THANK YOU to our church body for their enthusiastic
financial, prayer, and moral support. Only 26 people went but our whole body was represented in the mission!
On August 3rd, I will be sharing some pictures and stories
from our trip. You can also watch a fun slide show here http://tinyurl.com/oq67sbr.
If you would like to hear stories or more about the trip I am always excited to talk!
Summer is a great time to get out and enjoy the world
around us. The junior high and high school youth groups have had the opportunity to play on the lake, play sports
at MCCS, and hike Staircase. Every outing creates community as well as teachable moments in our lives.
Thank you, church, for all of the encouragement, support, and love you give the ministry to our youth.
MCCS is a small, private Christian school in Shelton, that boasts small class sizes,
an encouraging learning environment and excellent academics. We use laptop computers in our learning environment on a regular basis, throughout all of our grade levels.
Our small class sizes allow us to offer close supervision and guidance to help our young people learn to use technology in a responsible way.
If you have a child or grandchild that may benefit from this environment, please schedule a time to visit our campus and learn how you can join our wonderful community. (360) 426-7616

skills and energies for the Kingdom of God. www.masoncountychristianschool.com
