Dear EKA Parents and Guardians,

This email is to give everyone important information regarding the start of the 20-21

school year.

On Thursday, July 30th, our EKA Governing Board voted to start the year in the Distance

Learning mode for the first quarter of the school year. (August 25th - October 9th) We will

re-evaluate this decision at our upcoming meeting in September 2020. We know that this

change is difficult, but the EKA Governing Board and Administration believe that it is in the best

interest, health and wellness of all of our EKA Family. CCSD FACES ( Family and Community

Engagement Services) is available to assist our families if they need help supporting their

students in Distance Learning.

Students will start school this year on Tuesday, August 25th. A copy of our revised

calendar is attached. We have slipped the start of the school year so that our staff can prepare

for Distance Learning and the new requirements. Students will not need to make up any school

days due to this change. We will still end the school year on May 20th.

EKA’s operational hours will be changing. Our main office in Building B will now be open

on Tuesdays - Fridays from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. Our office in Building A will remain closed. We

ask that families try to do business either through phone calls (702) 870-5032 to the office, or

virtually by email. We have attached an email list for our staff members so families can directly

contact the person they need.

SURVEY RESULTS

When we first began thinking about the start of the 20 - 21 school year in May 2020, our

plans and ideas were very different than they are now. It was hoped that COVID-19 would be

manageable by now and that we would be able to return to school with a few modifications.

We now know that is not possible. At that time we also had families return a survey asking how

they wanted school to start. We additionally sent a second request to families that had not

returned the initial request in July. We did not have 75% of our total families sending in their

request and we did not have 50% or more requesting distance learning. This was the original

requirement for having a full time in class with the distance learning combination that we had

once hoped to have. Now that we know we will be starting with distance learning, when the

time comes to make another change, we will send something out to our families to get an

update on their preferences.

DISTANCE LEARNING PLAN AND STUDENT DAY

EKA’s Distance Learning Plan will encompass a combination of online sessions where

EKA teachers will provide live-stream lessons (synchronous learning) at specific times each

school day, recorded lessons (asynchronous learning) for playback or missed live-stream

sessions, virtual office hours for families and students to connect with EKA teachers, and a

centralized location for all student assignments through Google Classroom. We will still be

using Infinite Campus for posting grades and attendance. We are still waiting to hear from the

Nevada Department of Education on how attendance will be taken or even counted during

Distance Learning, but we do know it is a requirement that EKA teachers have contact with

students every school day. Contact may be through a live-stream lesson, an email, a virtual

office hour meeting, a phone call, or chat through Google Classroom or a group event on

Google Meets or Google Hangout. We are attaching a set of videos to assist our families in

navigating this new virtual world.

Students in all grade levels will have their own unique schedule. In general, teachers

will begin streaming lessons no earlier than 8 am and will end live streaming by 3 pm each

school day, Tuesday - Friday. If students are unable to attend a live session, recorded videos

will be available for play-back in their Google Classroom. Then, to assist our families to stay up

to date with their student’s achievement, they will receive a weekly email update with

information about upcoming assignments as well as assignments that students may have

missed.

Because we have to be prepared to move from Distance Learning to Hybrid Learning

and hopefully to fully at-school learning this school year, students will be using the same

curriculum in all phases. We will be returning to our traditional curriculum, with some

additional digital enhancements for the distance portions. We will not be using Study Island as

a base learning program like we did in the Spring. Students will not be expected to spend an

entire day sitting in front of a computer screen. Instead they will have their own unique

schedule, tailored to their academic needs with specific times daily for them to virtually meet

with their classes and teachers. In general, students will have six classes in their Google

Classroom account. We will not be changing to an only four class system for our middle school

students like CCSD. Instead, we will maintain our normal system of semester grading periods

and half credit/semester for middle and high school courses.

office hours, will serve as structures to provide and promote students’ learning within

whole-group instruction, small-group instruction and one-on-one instruction, depending on

student needs and course enrollment. The student’s Google Classroom main page will show

their courses, meeting times and their teacher for that course. Teachers will be giving new

content instruction each school day for about 15-20 minutes for each course, depending on

grade level and content needs. Students will have assignments to do both virtually, and on

their own. Each class block is about an hour, but the intent is to have the students online for

about 30 minutes and then give them time to do off-line work. Students who are unable to

make the live streamed class, will be able to watch a video-taped playback which will be posted

to their Google Classroom, so they can access it whenever they have the time. The playback

can also be used as reinforcement if a student is struggling with a concept and needs a

refresher.

Students that are English Language Learners, Special Education Students, Struggling

Learners and those with 504’s will have additional supports through video conferencing, and

one-on-one instruction/small group instruction from their specialists. Using Google Meets or

Google Hangouts, we will be able to provide the additional educational minutes these students

need as well as everything general education students are receiving. All legal documentation,

accommodations and supports will be provided, as needed, and reasonable within this new

learning environment.

Since students will not start on campus or have a homeroom in which to start their day,

there will not be an assigned advisor to each student. Instead, the Google Classroom will have

the contact information for the teacher of each course. This will give families a direct contact

for their questions for each class.

EKA STUDENT EMAIL ADDRESSES

This year, students in all grade levels will be given their own individual EKA email

address. These addresses can only receive emails from other EKA students and staff. The primary parent in Infinite Campus (IC) will receive the student login information to their

personal email account a few days prior to August 25th, as long as the student is enrolled by

August 23rd. Please make sure your email address in Infinite Campus is correct. If you need a

refresher or are new to Infinite Campus, please use the attached user guide to learn more

about it and receive directions on accessing different areas within the program like student

course schedules and grades. Due to this years’ possible changing scheduling, student

schedules will not match the times in IC, though the course lists will be the same. Please look to your students’ Google Classroom account for their course meet up times.

CURRICULUM LOGIN INFORMATION

Students will be using EKAs online curriculum as their base content for

Reading/Language Arts, Math and Science in grades K - 5 as well as for English in grades 6 - 12.

Math in 6th - Algebra will also use online curriculum. These login links will also be placed in the

students’ Google Classroom.

1.) Reading Wonders, MyMath, Inspire Science, and Glencoe Math Courses will be accessed

through Mcgraw-Hill. On the McGraw-Hill Education LogIn page at

my.mheducation.com, log in to accounts using the login and password provided by your

teacher. Note that students will use the same platform and login information for all

courses included here.

2.) English for students in 6th through 12th grades will be accessed through Savvas

Learning at savvasrealize.com. Students will then login using the login and password

provided by their teacher.

3.) Students in GoMath will access their content at myhrw.com using the login and

password provided by their teacher.

COUNSELING

We know that this is a difficult time for our families and students. Our counselors are

available to assist and can be reached directly through their email or by calling the main office.

If your family is struggling with homelessness, call our Title I HOPE representative at

702-870-5032. She is available to help provide guidance in finding needed resources. Since

students will not be on campus, we will not have food for our families through Three Square.

We will be in touch with CCSD to see if our families can use their food services during the school

year.

REVISED SUPPLY LISTS

Since students will not be on campus, we have adjusted the supply lists to include only

items students will need at home. Please see the attachment. When the time comes for us to

return to the school campus, we will update these supply lists and communicate those changes

with you.

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT

We will not hold a Back to School Night or an Open House this year. Instead, our

teachers will be placing a video and introductory letter to their students and their families in

the students’ Google Classroom account. Students and their families will have the opportunity

to get to know their teachers through short videos and informational letters. We have also

attached the staff email list for all of our staff to make contacting these staff members easier.

WORKBOOKS, SCHOOL FEES and EKA SPIRIT ITEMS

Some of you have asked the purpose of school fees if we are doing distance learning and

you are not borrowing school technology. The school fees pay for student planners, obsolete

technology replacement, online curriculum, technology infrastructure within the school,

Internet connections, projectors, and essentially anything related to ensuring that the EKA

technology can be used for educational purposes. It is vital to our maintaining the technology

students need at EKA.

School fees and workbooks can be purchased online through EKA’s webstore at

shirts, spirit items and seadragon face masks as well.

TECHNOLOGY LOAN AND INTERNET ACCESS

The technology loan program for the 19 - 20 school year was a great success and we will

again be loaning out technology to our students for their educational use. If you are interested

August 17th. Our counseling staff is also available to assist families that do not have Internet

can have someone work with you.

TECHNOLOGY, SPIRIT ITEMS AND WORKBOOK PICK UP

During the week of August 18th - August 21st (Tuesday - Friday), EKA families will be

able to come to school to pick up loaned technology and collect any purchased class workbooks

or EKA spirit items. Technology forms must be completed prior to coming on campus.

EKA will not take cash payments for school fees, workbooks or spirit items. Technology,

spirit items and workbooks will be in Building C in the Multi-Purpose room during the

designated pick up week.

The parent or guardian picking up the technology must bring a form of identification

(driver’s license or identify card) and must sign for the loaned equipment. Students without a

parent or guardian present may not pick up technology.

In an effort to maintain adequate social distancing and protections for our staff, we

are requiring that everyone wear a mask when on EKA’s campus. Please prepare your

students if you are bringing them on campus. They will not be permitted to run, play, or hug

their friends. This is not a social time and students/families not adhering to our requests will

be asked to leave. No one without a mask will be permitted inside the facility.

When you arrive on campus, please park in an available parking spot. Then, walk to the

Building C entrance. We must limit the number of people in the facility at the same time, so

there may be a wait to enter Building C. Please limit your party to two people maximum. If you

cannot make your designated time, see the chart below, please contact

campus at one time, we will ask that you wait in your cars so that we may maintain distancing

guidelines.

DUAL ENROLLMENT

We will be continuing our dual enrollment CSN and UNLV programs for our high school

students. Today, August 3rd is the last day for 9th and 10th graders to sign up for the UNLV

program. We have attached the Dual Enrollment information for this program and below is the

link that must be completed.

CONCLUSION

We know that this is not how any of us anticipated this school year, but we as an EKA

family must stick together and support each other. Our PTSA will help lead this charge and is

working to find ways to bring us together, though we cannot physically be together. Expect to

see information from them shortly. We will again start sending out our Sea Dragon Strong

newsletter to our families on a weekly basis as soon as school starts. Those of you familiar

with it know that it contains timely information families need. EKA administration will continue

to work to provide our families the same level of communication that you have come to expect

about the status of the school during this pandemic. Thank you for your support and together,

DUAL ENROLLMENT THROUGH UNLV

Dear Parents / Guardians,

Your high school student has the opportunity to obtain both high school and college credit

through the dual enrollment program at University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) for the fall

semester. This program is being offered at no cost to our families. There will be up to two classes

offered at UNLV for our students. Classes will be held on Mondays, but we anticipate that they

will be online (distance education). In order to be eligible, students must have passed all of their

2019 – 2020 classes with a C or better and have no disciplinary infractions for the 2019 – 2020

school year.

If you are interested in your student participating in this program, please sign your child up for

CAMPUS PARENT – CAMPUS STUDENT – MOBILE APP

Campus Parent/Campus Student and the Mobile App are available to help parents

and students more effectively monitor student progress. They provide detailed, real-

time information including: Calendar, Assignments, Grades, Grade Book Updates,

Attendance, Schedule, Academic Plan, Health (Immunizations Only), Fees/Payments,

Reports, District/School Notices, Cafeteria Balance, and School Meals Application.

Use your existing user name and password to access Campus Parent or Campus

Student, and/or the Mobile App.

Mobile App

The new mobile applications, Campus Student (for students) and Campus Parent (for

parents) can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store. In the search field,

enter either Campus Parent or Campus Student to find the application.

Log In to the Mobile App

When logging in to the mobile app, type “Clark” into the District Name field, and

select “Nevada” in the State field. Once you click on the “Search District” button,

select “Clark County” District.

To access Settings, click on the User Menu (Silhouette Icon) in the upper right corner,

and select Settings.

Within the settings menu, you have the ability to update your Account Settings,

Contact Preferences, Current Devices, and Notification Settings.

Settings > Account Settings

The Account Settings allow users to update their security email or change their

password.

Click on the User Menu (Silhouette Icon) in the upper right corner, then select Settings,

and click Account Settings.

From here, you will have the ability to update (change) the Account Security Email or

Password. The Account Security Email is where you set up an email address to retrieve

information for a username or password reset (allowing you to use the features on the

sign-in page, “Forgot Password?” or “Forgot Username?”).

Campus enforces strong passwords, meaning that passwords should have a mix of

letters, numbers, and characters to make them more secure.

Upon updating the Account Security Email, the system will ask that you confirm the

new email account by clicking on the confirmation link sent to the new email inbox.

Settings > Contact Preferences (Phone Numbers & Email

Addresses)

Parents and students can manage their personal contact information, including Cell

Phone, Work Phone, Other Phone, and Email Address. When you update, the changes

will go directly into Campus and school personnel will have the most current

information.

Parents and students can also manage their contact preferences by selecting the

desired language, when you receive messages, and how you receive that message.

Currently, CCSD is only using email contacts.

To update contact preferences:

Settings > Current Devices

Current Devices allows parents and students to view mobile devices that are currently

logged in to their account using the mobile app. This tool allows users to remotely log

out of a mobile device, which is helpful if you lose your device and want to log out of

the application so that no one else can access information.

From the User Menu, select Settings, then select Current Devices, and a list of devices

logged in to Campus Parent/Student or the mobile app will appear. Click Log Off.

Settings > Notification Setting

This tool allows users to opt out of receiving specific

kinds of notifications and establishes thresholds for

those they want to receive. For example, you can

set thresholds to receive notifications when a

grade or score falls below the selected

percentage.

Click on the User Menu (Silhouette Icon) in the

upper right corner, then select Settings, and click

Notification Settings.

Notification

Click on the Notifications drop-down list (Bell icon), in the

upper right corner, to see a list of notifications. Click on

each notification to “Mark as Read”, or use the “Mark All

As Read” button.

Note: Using the “Mark All As Read” button will only

remove the blue dot on new notifications but will not

delete the notification.

Selecting a Student

To view information for a specific child (student), click the

drop-down list in the upper right corner.

The drop-down list only appears when you select specific

tools, such as: Assignments, Attendance, Grades, Grade Book

Update, Schedule, etc.

Below is a list of the tools available through all three applications:

Message Center

The Message Center includes announcements posted from the school or at the district

level. Announcements display based on the timeline set by the creator and cannot be

deleted or archived. Click the “Show More” option to display additional text for longer

announcements.

Additionally, the Inbox displays messages sent, including those from teachers.

Today

This tool shows the selected student’s schedule for the current day and lists any

assignments due today or tomorrow.

The schedule shows the times of the period during the day and the student’s course,

with the teacher’s name and room assigned.

This assignment list covers all of the student’s courses including those that may not

meet on the current day. Click on the assignment or the course name to view details.

Note: You may see messages posted on the login screen, as well.

Calendar

This tool collects the selected student’s assignments for the week in a simple, single

page overview.

Toggle the Assignments Weekly View by selecting the small calendar icon on the top

right.

Navigate to other weeks by selecting a week on the calendar.

In the Weekly View, you will see assignments for the week and scores. Assignments

display for the calendar day on which they are due.

Flagged assignments, such as missing assignments, are also shown. Scored

assignments show the points possible, if applicable, or the percentage or rubric score

earned.

Click on the assignment or the course name to show the details page.

The “Schedule” mode contains student schedule information for the selected day.

Selecting the “Attendance” mode will show any attendance data for the selected

day.

Assignments

This tool collects all of a student’s assignments with the focus on today; click on the

specific assignment to view details and scroll to see previous and future assignments.

Use the “Missing” and “Current Term” buttons at the top to filter assignments.

Grades

This tool shows all of the grades earned by the selected student for all tasks (such as

semester grades) and standards. Posted grades display in bold, with In-Progress grades

indicated as “In-progress.” The student’s Cumulative GPA also displays at the top of

the Grades tab, if enabled.

Where the grey arrow displays for a task or standard, click the task to view the

categories that contribute to the grade. Expand categories to view all included

assignments. Click assignments to view details.

Grades that are part of a composite or rollup grading setup are indicated.

You can also view the Grading Scale or Rubric. Select the specific grade, and click

the blue icon on the Detail Page.

Click Close to close the Grading Key view.

Grade Book Updates

This tool lists all of the assignments scored or updated in the last 14 days. Click on the

assignment or the course name to view details.

Attendance

This tool lists the absences, tardies and early releases for attendance taking periods in

Click on a period to view details. On the detail page, absences, tardies, and early

releases are divided by type (excused, unexcused, exempt, or unknown), with all

absences, tardies and early releases listed.

When recorded attendance is via present minutes, this attendance screen displays

the total Present Time and Expected Time by section. Click on a section to view the

Time In, Time Out, and Present Time recorded by date.

Schedule

This tool shows the student’s schedule for each term, including any day rotations.

Schedules shown are for the whole year, all terms, and all of the student’s enrollments.

Each schedule includes the times of the periods during the day and the student’s

courses, with the teacher’s name and room assigned. If a day rotation is in place, the

day is indicated in the top right corner of the schedule. Click on the course name to

view details.

Academic Plan

This tool displays the student’s assigned Academic Program and the courses the

student has planned to take in each school year. Students can add courses to their

plan, and print their Course Plan and their Progress Report from here.

Note: View the Academic Plan on a larger device, if possible.

When first accessing the Academic Planner, select and/or verify an Academic Plan

from the drop-down list. Also select the desired Post Grad Location (where you are

going to attend college) and your Post Grad Plans. Click the Next button to view the

student’s Course Plan.

To print a copy of the Progress Report of the selected Academic Program, click

the Progress Report button.

Choose which program to print the progress, select to print a Summary or a

Detail of the progress, and click Generate Report.

The Summary Report includes information on the student's assigned graduation

program, their on-track status, and the student's progress.

The Detail Report includes all of the information in the summary report, plus the

information on the specifics of the requirement, and allows the selection of

credit type details, course requirement details, test requirement details and

compound requirement details.

Fees

This tool provides a list of all fees assigned to a student/child. Fees that are still owed,

have been paid, or were voided appear on the list, followed by the ongoing balance

for these fees.

There is also a School Year drop-down list to view fees assigned to the student for a

specific school year. Use the Student drop-down list to see specific information for

each student/child.

Documents

This tool collects files relevant to the student, including learning documents such as a

PDF version of the student’s schedule, progress report, report cards, and unofficial

transcripts. Click on an entry to view the file as a PDF.

CAMPUS PARA PADRES – CAMPUS PARA ESTUDIANTES – APLICACIÓN

MÓVIL

El Campus Parent/Campus Student y la Aplicación Móvil están disponibles para

ayudar a los padres y estudiantes a supervisar más eficazmente el progreso del

estudiante. Proporcionan información en tiempo real detallada, incluyedo:

Calendario, Asignaciones, Calificaciones, Actulización de la Boleta de Calificaciones,

Asistencia, Horario, Plan Académico, Salud (solamente vacunas), Tarifas/Pagos,

Informes, Avisos del Distrito/Escuela, Saldo de la Cafetería y la Solicitud para los

Alimentos Escolares.

Use su nombre de usuario y contraseña existentes para tener acceso a Campus

Parent o Campus Student, y/o a la Aplicación Móvil.

Aplicación Móvil

Las aplcaciones móviles nuevas, Campus Student (para estudiantes) y Campus Parent

(para padres) se pueden descargar de Google Play o del App Store. En el campo de

búsqueda, ingrese ya sea Campus Parent o Campus Student para encontrar la

aplicación.

Ingrese en la Aplicación Móvil

Cuando ingrese en la aplicación móvil, teclee "Clark" en el campo District Name, y

seleccione "Nevada" en el campo State. Una vez que haga clic en el botón Search

District (búsque el distrito), seleccione el distrito "Clark County".

Ya sea que haya ingresado en la

applicación móvil o en la red (web), usted

necesitará ingresar su Nombre de Usuario y la

Contraseña. Haga clic en Ingresar (Log In).

Aviso: En la aplicación móvil, existe una

cajita para Stay logged in. Al usar esta

aplicación, no necesitará ingresar cada vez

para tener acceso a la aplicación móvil.

Para utilizar la función de recuperación para

nombre de usuario/contraseña, usted debe

establecer sus Configuraciones de la Cuenta

en el Campus Parent. Si necesita asistencia,

puede contactar al Servicio de Asistencia

del Portal al 799-PORT (7678).

Configuraciones

Para ingresar a Configuraciones (Settings), haga clic en el Menú del Usuario (símbolo

de Persona) en la esquina superior derecha, y seleccione Configuraciones.

En el menú de configuraciones, usted puede actualizar la Configuración de su

Cuenta, Preferencia de Contactos, Dispositivo Actual y Configuración de

Notificaciones.

Configuraciones > Configuraciones de la Cuenta

Las Configuraciones de la Cuenta le permiten a los usuarios actualizar su correo

electrónico de seguridad o cambiar su contraseña.

Haga clic en el Menú del Usuario (símbolo de Persona) en la esquina superior

derecha, después seleccione Configuraciones, y haga clic en Configuraciones de la

Cuenta.

Desde aquí, tendrá la capacidad de actualizar (cambiar) el Correo Electrónico o

Contraseña de la cuenta de seguridad. El Correo Electrónico de la Cuenta de

Seguridad es donde usted establece la dirección de un correo electrónico para

recuperar información para reestablecer un nombre de usuario o una contraseña

(que le permite usar las funciones en la página para ingresar, ¿Olvidó su Contraseña?

(Forgot Password?) u ¿Olvidó su Nombre de Usuario? (Forgot Username).

Campus aplica contraseñas potentes, lo que quiere decir que esas contraseñas

deberían tener una mezcla de letras, números y caractéres para hacerlas más

seguras.

Al actualizar el Correo Electrónico de Seguridad de la Cuenta, el sistema le pedirá

que confirme la cuenta de correo electrónico nueva haciendo clic en el enlace de

confirmación enviado a la nueva bandeja de entrada del correo electrónico.

Configuraciones > Preferencias de Contacto (Números de

Teléfonos y Correos Electrónicos)

Los padres y estudiantes pueden manejar la información de contacto personal,

incluyendo Número Celular, Número del Trabajo, Otros Números Telefónicos y

Dirección del Correo Electrónico. Cuando usted actualice, los cambios irán

directamente a Campus y el personal de la escuela tendrá la información más

actuliazada.

Los padres y estudiantes también pueden manejar sus preferencias de contacto al

seleccionar el idioma deseado, cuándo recibir mensajes y cómo recibir el mensaje.

Actualmente, el CCSD solamente está utilizando contactos por correos electrónicos.

Para actualizar las preferencias de contacto:

Los Dispositivos Actuales le permite a los padres y estudiantes ver los dispositivos

móviles que actualmente están ingresados en su cuenta usando la aplicación móvil.

Esta herramienta le permite a los usuarios salir a distancia de un aparato móvil, lo cual

es útil si pierde su dispositivo y quiere salir de la aplicación para que nadie más tenga

acceso a la información.

Desde el Menú del Usuario, seleccione Configuraciones, después seleccione

Dispositivos Actuales, y aparecerá una lista de los dispositivos que están ingresados en

el Campus Parent/Student o la aplicación móvil. Haga clic en Salir (Log Off)

Configuraciones > Configuración de Notificaciones

Esta herramienta permite que los usuarios

elijan no recibir notificaciones de un tipo

específico y establece límites para aquellos

para aquellos que si desea recibir. Por

ejemplo, usted puede establecer límites para

recibir notificaciones cuando una calificación

o puntaje está por debajo del porcentaje

seleccionado.

Seleccione el Menú del Usuario (símbolo de

Persona) en la Esquina superior derecha,

después seleccione Configuraciones, y haga

clic and Configuración para Notificaciones.

Notificación

Haga clic en la lista desplegable de Notificaciones

(símbolo Campana), en la esquina superior derecha,

para ver la lista de notificaciones. Haga clic en cada

notificación para "Marcar como Leído", o utilice el

botón de Marque Todos como Leídos.

Aviso: Usar el botón Marcar Todos como Leídos solo

borrará el punto azul en las notificaciones nuevas

pero no borrará la notificación.

Seleccionar un Estudiante

Para ver información de un niño específico (estudiante), haga

clic en la lista desplegable en la esquina superior derecho.

La lista desplegable solamente aparece cuando usted

selecciona herramientas específicas, tales como:

Centro de Mensajes

El Centro de Mensajes incluye mensajes publicados de la escuela o a nivel del distrito.

Los mensajes se muestran basados en una cronología establecida por el autor y no se

pueden borrar o archivar. Haga clic en la opción Muestre Más para mostrar texto

adicional para avisos más largos.

Además, la bandeja de entrada muestra los mensajes enviados, incluyendo aquellos

de los maestros.

Hoy

Esta herramienta muestra el horario seleccionado del estudiante para el día actual y

enumera cualquier asignación para ese día o para mañana.

El horario muestra los horarios del periodo durante el día y el curso del estudiante, con

el nombre del maestro y con el salón asignado.

Esta lista de asignaciones cubre todos los cursos del estudiante, incluyendo aquellos

que no se reúnan ese día. Haga clic en la asignación o en el nombre del curso para

ver detalles.

Calendario

Esta herramienta reúne las asignaciones seleccionadas del estudiante para la

semana en una descripción simple en una sola hoja.

Alterne la Vista de Asignaciones Semanales por medio de seleccionar el ícono

En la Vista Semanal, verá las asignaciones para la semana y los puntajes. Las

asignaciones se muestran para el día calendario en que se deben de entregar.

Las asignaciones marcadas, como las asignacionestantes, también se muestran. Las

asignaciones calificadas muestran los posibles puntos, si procede, o el porcentaje o el

puntaje rúbrica obtenido.

Haga clic en la asignación o en nombre del curso para mostrar detalles de la página.

El modo Horario contiene información del horario del estudiante para el día

Esta herramienta recolecta todas las asignaciones del estudiante con el enfoque en

para filtrar las asignaciones

Calificaciones

Esta herramienta muestra todas las calificaciones obtenidas, de acuerdo al

estudiante seleccionado, para todos los trabajos (como las calificaciones

semestrales) y los estándares. Las calificaciones publicadas en negrita, con

calificaciones en curso indicadas como "En curso"(In progress). El Puntaje Acumulativo

GPA del estudiante también se muestra en la parte superior del tabulador de

Calificaciones, si se activa.

Donde la flecha gris muestra una trabajo o estándar, haga clic en el trabajo para ver

la categoría que contribuye a la calificación. Expanda las categorías para ver todas

las asignaciones incluidas. Haga clic en las asignaciones para ver los detalles.

Se indican las calificaciones que son parte de un compuesto o que están

establecidas como calificaciones redondeadas.

También puede ver la Rúbrica o Escala de Calificaciones. Seleccione la calificación

específica, y haga clic en el ícono azul en la Página Detallada.

Haga clic en Cerrar para cerrar la vista de la Clave de Calificación.

Actualizaciones de la Boleta de Calificaciones

Esta herramienta lista todas las asignaciones calificadas en los últimos 14 días. Haga

clic en la asignación o nombre del curso para ver los detalles.

Asistencia

Esta herramenta lista todas las faltas, llegadas tarde y salidas temprano para los

periodos donde se pasa lista en el periodo seleccionado. Desplácese entre periodos

usando la opción en la parte superior.

Haga clic en un periodo para ver los detalles. En la página de detalles, faltas,

llegadas tarde, y salidas temprano están divididas por tipo (justificadas, sin justificar,

exentas o desconocidas), con todas las faltas, llegadas tarde y salidas temprano

listadas.

Cuando se registra la asistencia es por medio de los minutos presentes, esta pantalla

de asistencia muestra el Tiempo Presente total y el Tiempo Esperado por sección.

Haga clic en una sección para ver el Tiempo Dentro, Tiempo Fuera, y el Tiempo

Actual registrado por fecha.

Horario

Esta herramienta muestra el horario del estudiante para cada periodo, incluyendo

cualquier rotación del día. Los horarios que se muestran son para todo el año, para

todos los periodos, y para todos los registros del estudiante.

Cada horario incluye los horarios de los periodos durante el día y los cursos del

estudiante, con el nombre del maestro y el salón asignado. Si sucede alguna

rotación, se indica el día en la parte superior derecha del horario. Haga clic en el

nombre del curso para ver los detalles.

Plan Académico

Esta herramienta muestra el Programa Académico asignado del estudiante y los

cursos que el estudiante ha planeado tomar en cada año escolar. Los estudiantes

pueden añadir cursos en su plan, e imprimir su Plan de Curso y su Informe del Progreso

desde aquí.

Aviso: Vea el Plan Académico en un dispositivo más grande, si es possible

Al inicio del acceso al Planeador Académico, seleccione y/o verifique un Plan

Académico de la lista desplegable. También seleccione la Ubicación para Después

de la Graduación (donde vas a asistir al colegio universitario) y tus planes para

Después de la Graduación. Haga clic al botón Siguiente (next) para ver el plan de

curso del estudiante.

Para imprimir una copia del Informe de Progreso del Programa Académico

seleccionado, haga clic en el botón del Informe del Progreso.

Elija cuál programa para imprimir el progreso, seleccione imprimir un Resumen o

un Detallado del progreso, y haga clic en Generar un Informe.

El Informe del Resumen incluye la información sobre el programa de

graduación asignado del estudiante, su estatus si está al corriente, y el progreso

del estudiante.

El Informe Detallado incluye toda la información en el informe del resumen, más

la información sobre los detalles requeridos, y permite la selección de los

detalles del tipo de crédito, detalles requeridos del curso, detalles requeridos

para la prueba y detalles requeridos compuestos.

Cuotas

Esta herramienta proporciona una lista de todas las tarifas asignadas al

estudiante/niño. Las tarifas que aún se deben, que han sido liquidadas, o que fueron

anuladas, aparecen en la lista, seguidas de un saldo continuo de esas tarifas.

También hay una lista desplegable del año escolar para ver las tarifas asignadas al

estudiante para un año escolar específico. Use la lista desplegable de Estudiantes

para ver información específica para cada estudiante / niño.

Documentos

Esta herramienta reúne archivos reelevantes al estudiante, incluyendo los

documentos de aprendizaje, tales como la versión PDF del horario del estudiante, el

informe del progreso, las boletas de calificaciones, y las constancias de estudios no
