2017 DIOCESAN WOMEN’S CONFERENCE – PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDAR! The 3rd Annual Diocesan Women’s Conference will be held October 14, 2017 at Bishop McDevitt High School. All women are most cordially invited! Since this is the 100th anniversary year of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s apparitions to the three shepherd children at Fatima, Portugal in 1917, and it will be the day after the 100th anniversary of “The Miracle of the Sun”, the theme of this year’s conference is: “Lead All Souls to Heaven…”: Mary’s Message to Us from Fatima Susan Brinkmann, award winning journalist and Catholic author and presenter is our Keynoter Speaker. Her bio and a save-the-date flyer are attached. She will also be providing a workshop at the confer-ence. Susan has a compelling conversion story and has appeared a number of times on radio and television. There will also be approximately 30 workshops over three sessions, as well as Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with the praying of the Rosary, excellent music, numerous Catholic vendors and exhibitors, more than 20 Priests on hand to hear Confessions, Mass celebrated by Bishop Gainer, food, and fellowship with women throughout the diocese, and more. We continue to hold the cost at the same price each year, just $30 per woman if you register by the early-bird deadline of September 25, 2017. After that, the registration fee is $40. The first year of the Women’s Conference (2015) we had 725 attendees. Last year we had 833. We are hoping that more than 1,000 women will attend this year’s conference! Registration forms are available in the Narthex.
