When Providers utilize the Coalition’s Red Line…
Everyone hears the same answer -reducing confusion
Providers are able to see what other Providers are asking,
Everyone is held to the same level of accountability, minimizing the
appearance of favoritism or preferential
treatment.
Providers are accessing an INFORMATION SYSTEM, rather than
depending on a person to transfer
information that may or may not be
accurate due the many changes taking
place!

Implementing the School Readiness PlanSchool Readiness (SR) Plan Elements: Analyzing Child Outcomes & Partnering to Raise MatchHiring additional employees to complete child screening, assessment, analysis, and follow-up activities would require the Coalition to reduce direct service spending while increasing employee costs. Many School Readiness Providers agreed to compensate their staff to complete assessment strategies to assist the Coalition in meeting the School Readiness Match requirement and determine children’s cognitive and health related outcomes.
SR Plan Element: Stipends to Increase Teacher Wage Using Quality funding the Coalition implements its approved PLAN by stipending SR directors to complete parental follow-ups on vision and hearing referrals. Additionally, the Coalition awards stipends to those teachers/Providers completing mid-assessment PARENT CONFERENCES to recognize the parent as the Child’s First Teacher, track SR funded children’s developmental growth, and increase teachers’ wage.
SR PLAN Element: Curriculum EnhancementThe Coalition utilized Quality funding to purchase an approved SR Infant/Toddler Curriculum to support SR Providers in meeting contractual requirements and enhance emotional-social development. Through Community Partners, the Coalition was able to access Big Books and Science Easels to share with SR Providers and Teachers.
SR PLAN ELEMENT: Parent Engagement – Coalition purchased & distributed Parent Engagement Calendars for each child in the preschool classroom.
