The new MOM Oldham-type fle-xible coupling from Lika Electronicis distinguished by its spheroidalgraphite cast iron (EN-GJS-400)metal spacer connecting the hubs. It yields an increased impact andfatigue resistance compared toresin spacers and allows for thehighest torque (up to 352 Nm) andtorsional rigidity (up to 46000Nm/rad) while providing optimalductility properties at the sametime.
Furthermore it excellently compen-sates for large lateral (up to 1.4 mm/ 0.055”) and angular misali-gnments (up to 2° instead of 1° -1.5° in comparable models). So it is ideally suited for integra-tion into general-purposemotors and rotating shafts withlow speed and high torque charac-teristics in severe industrial applica-tions. The spacer is self-lubricatingfor virtually maintenance-freeenduring service.
MOM flexible coupling is offered ina very wide selection of bore dia-meters ranging between 3 mm(0.12”) and 42 mm (1.65”), with set-screw type, clamping type, key typeand clamping + key type hubs. In addition it can be ordered withdifferent bore diameters at hubs.
