Division 21,
Can you believe that summer is nearly
over?! It’s so bittersweet! This summer, Key
Clubbers across our Division have illuminated
service, for all to see. There’s no question
about it! I am so proud of each an everyone of you that set out with others to
change the world. Anyway, here’s the buzz:
It was great seeing some of you at my
August DCM that occurred on the 8th, just a
few days ago! I always have a blast with you
guys! If you weren't able to attend, no
worries! I have them every month! So, here's
a summary of what happened: ice breakers
galore + team building exercises,
presentation about KCCP from our very own
project director, Samuel Kim, club updates,
getting pumped for Seattle Rally, meetingnew people, GREAT FOOD and so much
more! I encourage all of you to come to my
DCM's, we truly are becoming one big
happy family. People that weren't/aren't in
Key Club are always welcome, too. Look out
for an email update for my September
DCM! You definitely won’t want to miss the
back to school information and activities!
Oh, and one more thing -- I would officially
like to introduce our new Divisional
Secretary, Christina Yoon!! She's an incoming
sophomore at Jackson, and has yet to findher key... you know, to unlock her potential!
Add her on Facebook if you'd like, look out
for her on page 5! I hope you guys are
keeping up the summer service, if you need
any help, I'm always here via text/call or
email! (Facebook messaging isn't my forte).
By the way, Mariner High School will be
holding a car wash, so look out for that!
Contact any of the officers or myself if you'd
like to participate or look up the event on
Facebook! Lastly, please take note that my
theme for August is illuminating service --what does that mean to you? I have no
doubt that each and every one of you will
be able to shine on and stand out. Until next
month, take care!
In love and service,

Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization
dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by
raising funds for children's hospitals. All CMN contributions
directly benefit hospitals, helping to purchase up-to-date
equipment, train staff, conduct lifesaving research,
implement outreach programs and provide health care for
children whose parents can’t afford to pay. CMN started in
1983 as a televised fundraiser in a single studio and has grown
into one of the largest organizations for the support of
children in the world. The organization was founded by Marie
Osmond and her family, John Schneider, Mick Shannon and
Joe Lake. Key Club became a partner in 1996 and since then
Kiwanis and Key Club have raised over $35 million for
Children’s Miracle Network.
Did you know that the Children's
Miracle Network has a partnership with
