This Friday 8th May will mark 75 years since the end World War 2. VE Day (Victory in Europe Day) Celebration. VE Day marks the end of World War 2 when fighting against Nazi Germany in Europe came to an end. This year it will be the 75 anniversary of VE Day. Read the comprehension (see attached) and answer the questions in your book.

Give an adult or sibling instructions to draw different shapes in each box. E.g. ‘Draw a triangle in the top left hand square, draw a square in the middle right hand square. Try to fill all of the squares then swap.
Read a favourite book and draw a character from the story.

This week’s Gospel tells us that Jesus looks after us because he loves us. Your grown-ups love you and look after you.
In your yellow exercise book, draw a picture of your grown-ups and write about the different ways in which they look after you. Write about all of the nice things that they do for you.
