$15.00 ADMISSION per session (inc skate hire)OR

$50.00 FAMILY PASS (2 adults + 2 children)

CHILDREN 5 YEARS & UNDERSkate for $5.00 but MUST be accompanied by afull paying adult at all times for their own safety.

AUSSIE SKATE LEARN-TO-SKATE

PROGRAMSkate school is for everyone who wants to learn the basic skills to

become a better skater. Our skating school promotes teamwork, self-discipline, and making new friendships whilst

having fun.

LEVEL 1......Level 1 will teach the very basics of skating.

LEVEL 2......Once you have completed Level 2

you are able to take part in Ringetteor Hockey.

Levels include;* Intermediate - Backward one foot glide,

Backward Stroking, Two foot turn.* Intermediate 2 - Backward slalom, Backward

crossovers, Backward two foot turn.* Advanced - Outside three turn, Inside three turn,

Inside open mohawk,Side stop.

* Stroking - Circle stroking inside and outside,Rink stroking.

ADVANCED SKATING SCHOOL...Advanced Skating School concentrates on Figure Skating specific skills which are required to join

the Amature Ice Figure Skating Club of Townsville.

Levels include;* Basic 1 - Fall and get up, dip, two foot glide.

* Basic 2 - One foot glide, swizzles, snowplow stop.

* Novice 1 - Stroking, Backwards swizzles, Backward two foot glide.

* Novice 2 - Slalom, Crossovers, T-Stop.

RINGETTE

Ringette is a team sport played on an ice surface. Players wear ice skates, and use a straight stick to control a rubber ring; with the objective of thegame being to score goals by shooitng the ring

into the opponent’s net.

PLEASE BRING...A jumper, gloves, a spare pair of socks,

bandaids to prevent blisters, some money for food & a drink, & if you’re asthmatic don’t

forget your puffer.

All particpants must wear helmets, elbow pads knee pads at all times. These are available for hire

fpr $3.00 from skate rental. The Warrina Ice Skating Rink WILL NOT take responsibilty for any

injuries resulting from these items not being worn.
