There is no known risk of catching lyssavirus from bat urine or faeces, but if either get into your eyes, nose, mouth or into an open wound, FLUSH WITH WATER to prevent other infections. If you are bitten or scratched by a bat, WASH THE WOUND THOROUGHLY with soap and water (DO NOT SCRUB). SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE IMMEDIATELY.
