Once upon a time there was a little girl called Ramya Ramya loved earringsEverybody who gave her gifts gave her earrings She had red earrings blueearrings green earrings and earrings of all the colours in the rainbow

Then for Ramyas birthday do you know what her Grandma got her

Grandma got Ramya really pretty diamond earrings that looked like stars Ramyaloved them Oh Grandma from where did you get such pretty diamond starsshe asked

It was a starless night and Grandma pointed to the sky See there are no stars inthe sky any longer I plucked all the stars from the sky and chose the best ones foryour earringsGrandma replied

This made Ramya very sadTwinkle twinkle little starHow I wonder where you areUp above the world so highPlease come back like diamonds in the skyRamya sang unhappily

That night Ramya tookoff her earrings andplaced them carefullyunder her pillow Shehoped a fairy wouldreturn the stars to thesky In the middle of thenight Ramya had abeautiful dream

In the dream a pretty fairy came and told Ramya ldquoDonrsquot worry Ramya I havethousands of new stars for the skyrdquo

Ramya woke up and do you know what she saw

The night sky was filled with stars

Ramyas eyes sparkled as she put on her precious diamond star earrings again

Now Ramya is so happy
