The setting is the legendary Labyrinth. The labyrinth is a cold, dark, and damp underground maze. It is filled with lots of Greek traps and monsters in every corner. You cannot tell time in the Labyrinth, some travelers are stuck in there forever. The Labyrinth changes texture of walls and floor. You could go to sleep in a marble cave, and wake up in a brick dump!

Percy Jackson- Is 5’10 and has stunning green eyes and jet black hair. Percy is intelligent Although he acts very dumb. Percy is a brave natural leader. He has a sarcastic personality. He has ADHD and dyslexia, whish are his secret weapons. Son of poiseden. Annabeth Chase- has blonde hair, and grey eyes. Percy

describes them as stormy and deep. She is 5’9. Annabeth is also daughter of Athena, meaning she is a brain child. Annabeth is also very harsh and judgmental. Annabeth is strong, for her skinny size. Percy describes her as typical athletic Florida girl.

Grover Underwood- is a satyr. He has brown hair and eyes. Grover is 5’9.He is tall and has Caucasian skin. His personality is cheerful, upbeat, and philosophical. He is also very proud of his small horns.

Tyson- is a Cyclops, son of Poseidon. He is very tall and buff. He has only one eye, whish is his key to life. He is a baby though, and is always whining. He gets scared very easily.

Time is running out as war between the Olympians and the evil Titan lord Kronos is drawing near. The camp has found a entrance to the labyrinth in side of Zeus’ fist. Making the safe haven of Camp Half Blood more vulnerable by the minute. Kronos’ army is preparing to invade the camp, and destroy the demi-gods. Percy and his friends must set out on a quest into the labyrinth to find Adrian's string before Luke does.

Luke falls of a cliff, which leaves the camp wondering if he is really dead. Hoping he is, Percy goes home to his apartment in Manhattan. All of a sudden Nico, appears at Percy's party. Daedulus gets his punishment, and Nico wants to make a deal with Percy. Nico knows a way to destroy Luke!

I thought the book was an amazing addition to the series. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! It was a little romantic between Percy and annabeth, they kissed! Which I gasped out loud when read that! Percy is becoming a strong and faithful demigod, and I think is not going to ruin the prophecy! Waiting to read the last book!

• In high school, Riordan wrote an underground newspaper that made fun of his school, especially the losing football team (who then egged his car).

• While he was in college, Riordan worked as the MUSIC DIRECTOR at a summer camp called Camp Capers. (That's where he got the idea for Camp Half-Blood.)

• Annabeth leads a quest with Percy, Grover and Tyson to find Daedelus, the maze's creator. Grover believes he can also find Pan somewhere in the Labyrinth. All the while, the Titans are planning to invade Camp Half Blood. They must hurry back in time to fight in the war, but also make sure Luke doesn’t get there first. Percy and the gang succesfully make it out of the labyrinth, and fight the Titans.
