With medical ghostwriting, pharmaceutical companies pay both professional writers to produce papers and then pay other scientists or physicans to attach their names to these papers before they are published in a medical or scientific journals.

The first and the last authors are the most important

The corresponding author is also important regarding points for promotion

It is recommended to introduce the last author as the corresponding

Who is to be in the acknowledgment

All contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship should be listed in an acknowledgments section
