Testing alternator.Do not stop motor.Vch 13.96 Ich 13.2Please wait 4:20

AutoTest now has the test battery connected to the test vehicle’s charging system. This period of testing is called dynamic testing. Firstly, AutoTest checks the alternator to make sure it is charging the test battery properly.

29

Testing battery.Do not stop motor.Vch 14.22 Ich 13.2Please wait 4:01

Next, AutoTest checks the battery. The amount of time AutoTest takes to test the battery depends on the state of charge of the battery being tested. AutoTest allows more time for a discharged battery to “come good” during charge than it does for a well charged battery.
