In exe rcIse of the powers confe rred by proVISO to article 309 of the

Constitutio n of Ind ia, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh, in consultati on with the Himachal

Pradesh Public Service Commi ssion, is pleased to make the fo llowing rules further to amend

the Himacha l Pradesh Admini strat ive Service Rul es, 1973, no tified vide this department 's

Notifi cati on No.7 -S/73- Dp-(A pptt .), Dated I S.3. 1973 and publi shed in the Rajpatra (Extra

Ordi nary), dated 11 .0S .1 973. namely: -

Fo r the ex isti ng provision against sub- rul e (S)of rule 23 of the

llimac hal Pradesh Ad mini stra ti ve Serv ice Rules, 1973, hereinafter

referred to as the 'said rul es', the fo ll owing shall be substituted

name ly:-

" (5) A member of the service shall be allowed the Special

Allowance in addition to pay to which he/she is entitled under sub­

rule (1) or sub-rule (2), as notified by the State Government from

time to time".

Appendi x - IT appended to the said rules shall be omitted.
