On SATURDAY, JULY 22nd, the followingEvents will be run:-

"AUTOCAR" CHALLENGE CUP.

For Cars of any power or weight propelled by a"yform of motive power. If there are not three startersthe Cup will not be awarded unless the kilometre is covered innot mort' than 40 sec, Each car will be allowed threeattempts,

Present Holder: Baron de Forest.

Handicap Sweepstake of £1 each for Cars which haverun in any of the Touring Events, other than forStandard Types of Cars.

Handicap Sweepstake of £5 each for Racing Carsweighing not more than 1000 kilos. (19 cwt. 2 qr.20 lb.), which have run in any of the RacingEvents.

In order that the public may have full knowledge of the pro-ceedings, a. system of Telegraph Boards placed at intervals alongthe course has been established, on which will appedor the number-of the Event, the number of the Round, the number of the Heat,'the number of the Winnel', and where the Event, is run against thethe watch, the Time. These Telegraph Boards, together with theProgrammes, should enable the spectators to follow the Events withinterest and intelligence.

The vehicles will be numbered consecutively from No. 1 each-day, and all the Events will be run in heats, except the Challenge-CUpEvents, in which Racing Cars will run singly.

Owing to the large number of entries received no byes will berun.
