OverviewAutomotive Service Technicians inspect, maintain and repair cars and light trucks. They often work in dealers and repair shops. With the help of technology and tools, service technicians are able to diagnose, analyze and remedy problems. This is a career fi eld that attracts people with a passion for cars and continues to evolve with changes in engineering and technology.
