Title: Autonomous Artificial Intelligent Robot
Abstract:
As technology becomes increasingly important in todays world, it is invaluable to not only learn how to
use technology, but also understand how to create it. A Robot, automatic machine that is able to move. Its controlled by a sophisticated controller, in many cases having an Artificial Intelligence. The purpose
of this project is to develop a sense of problem-solving, technical designing, logical thinking, Team
working, giving visual grasp of math and science, brings out innovation and creativity, self-management,
helps in absorbing future technologies with ease and ingenuity .
We will design and engineered a Microcontroller based robot. We wanted our robot to be able to track
object and follow them. The first thing we wanted to do is give the robot the ability to follow an object
with its head camera. The robot moves autonomously by tracking floor color, in a specified arena. It will
construct from scratch. Our second object tracking goal was to make the robot chase after an object,
much like a dog would chase a ball thrown by his owner. This kind of tracking is quite harder. It would
use the head camera tracking from the previous step, and combine it with rest of the robot sensors to
follow the object. The purpose of such systems is actually to demonstrate the harmony among electrical, mechanical and software fields.
We will use two types of sensors wall sensor & color sensor, wall sensor for sensing walls and turning on
edges and turns in maze to follow correct path & to avoid collision with walls. Color sensor is used to
detect color of maze floor & to put respected color balls in respected color buckets.
There will be many gates in maze. Any of the gate can be open or close so robot should be enough
intelligent to find its way in maze. There can be multiple color buckets at random location in maze, there
location can be changed and robot has to pot the respected color balls in predefined sequence in those
buckets.
