Nothing is lost.

• Auto Skills remembers exactly where the student left off. The current work is not lost when the student exits the program.

Training Process

• The training process in the AutoSkill Math Intervention Suite consists of evaluating students’ abilities, assigning training based on the assessment, monitoring the training, and intervening to help the students succeed when they encounter difficulties.

Page 7: AutoSkills @ Wildwood

Individualized Training

• As students progress through their training, their Individualized Training Programs are adjusted depending on their rate of progress and areas of difficulty.

Page 8: AutoSkills @ Wildwood

Tailored Training• Students receive training that is tailored to their

needs, based upon the results of a placement test and what grade they are in.

• Each student follows a training program that contains exercises in specific skill areas and skills.

• When they complete their assigned Individualized Training Program, students are automatically assigned a new program, which may include review skills from the program they have just completed.

Page 9: AutoSkills @ Wildwood

• Training follows a cycle of Assess and Prescribe, Train and Monitor, and Intervene and Adjust as needed.

• Remember, Wildwood has 10 Auto Skills licenses. This means that no more than 10 students throughout the building can be on Math at any one time.

• However, 10 additional students can be on Reading and 10 more on the Spanish program in Reading.

• Each license is about $4,000. If we go over our 10 licenses we will be required to buy the additional ones we are using.

• Please follow the guidelines which have been established.

understand what your students are doing. • Sign up for your classroom days and times.

• DO NOT use Auto Skills if you haven’t first established that it is YOUR time.

• Post your Auto Skills times in your classroom and in your grade book. Remember, it is very expensive if we go over our licenses.
