Seasonal Planting Design Concepts

PHS did a panorama study to determine a few ways the container plantings could be improved. It became clear that there is tremendous visual clutter on the street competing for the attention of both pedestrians and drivers. The current planting, using several different centerpiece plants, does not read as a coherent design. The study shows that the centerpiece plants should be taller and of one variety to read as a unified concept. One design will also make it more apparent that all planters are maintained by one entity.
