AVReporter Overview

• AVReporter was designed as a reporting and data visualization tool that could be learned quickly and easily, made accessible to all users.

• Special attention was given to data source integration, creating complex expressions, providing numerous reporting options, and easily configuring automated delivery.

• The result was an easy to use, yet powerful and flexible reporting tool, suitable for small and enterprise applications with scalable licensing options.

Structure of AVReporter

AVReporter can be installed using a Desktop Standalone/Server-Client solution and/or a web based solution; this combination is used to meet the specific requirements for access to individual sites for International or Multi-site applications.

AVReporter comes with 9 languages today, and can easily have new languages added.

Languages can be changed on the fly to suit the User‘s preference.

Language selections are applied to the User Interface on the fly and can be configured into Reports / Dashboards linked to the User login.

AVReporter’s multilingual support together with its multi currency ability allows AVReporter to be deployed as a single central global energy management solution while supporting local language and currency at each site. This is ideal for deploying an AVReporter solution in a phased or fiscal scenario, as well as, accommodating multi-cultural teams working with the same data.

Desktop Manager

Desktop Manager is the core application of AVReporter. It provides an interface to AVReporter’s reporting and dash boarding module, databases, user settings and management functions.

The Desktop Manager is used to complete the following functions:

Configure local language, global formatting for reports using fonts, company logos, corporate colors, etc.

Modules - Basic Reporter Module

Basic Reporter is a software module that makes the preparation of reports – tables, charts and other statements – easy and flexible, with respect to your personal demands. In addition to displaying the data recorded by the power supervision systems, the software also enables the analysis of the data by applying mathematical and statistical methods in an easy way. Thanks to the simple user interface, preparing a report does not require any particular professional knowledge.

Modules - Basic Reporter Module- Consumption and Rating Reports

The Consumption and Rating report allows the user to visualize the data of the different consumers (gas, power, water, etc.) in a Column and Pie Chart.

Simple calculations can be made by using consumption data so that emission calculation (carbon emission) and cost allocation calculation will be possible.

These data can also be used in Rating reports (ABC Report), so buildings can be classified according to their energy consumption.

You can customize the chart in terms of displaying : MIN/MAX lines, auxiliary lines, custom lines, line thickness, value labels, column chart etc.).

Basic Reporter Module- regression analysis

Regression analysis is a technique for modeling and analyzing the relationship between two variables. In Basic Reporter linear and non-linear (polynomial) regression can be used during modeling. Regression Analysis can be applied in the case of XY Chart.

• The AVR Connection Center Plug-in is a powerful database linking and management tool.

• It is used to configure links across a broad range of data sources and allows the user to completely manage what, how, and how often source data is collected.

• Incoming data can be filtered, rolled-up, or pre-calculated before it is stored in the AVR database.

AVR Connection Center – OPC Configurator, Redundant OPC Servers

AVR Connection Center OPC Configurator is an AVReporter plugin designed to help the user set up AVR Connection Center to import data from OPC servers into the AVReporter database. It can also be used to explore the tag hierarchy of OPC servers and to monitor and capture tags' current values and properties.

The OPC template of AVR Connection Center is capable of working with system setups where two OPC servers are available to provide uninterrupted access to data even if one of the servers becomes unavailable. It is required that data we wish to import can be accessed on both servers through tags using the same identifiers.

• The AVReporter WEBPublisher application provides the user with the ability to prepare web reports and dashboards easily and with a variety of options to create custom layouts and specific user interfaces.
