basis such units are exposed to live

Barrel

The match grade ree

foating barrel is screwed

into the action with a

39mm diameter long

thread. This provides

a rigid mount and

results in consistent

cold shot perormance.

The improved doublechamber muzzle brake,

screwed on and tension

clamped, eectively

reduces recoil, muzzle

fash and dust eruption.

A barrel can be changed

in less than ten minutes

using the barrel change

kit.

Action

The proprietary high

grade steel, fat bottom

action is bolted to the ull-

length aluminium chassis.

A ull width machined-

in recoil lug totally

eliminates movement and

ensures that zero will be

maintained in arduousconditions. Pressure

release point minimises

blowback in the event o

cartridge ailure.

Full lengthaluminiumchassis

The stiness o the

chassis means that any

available surace can

be used to support the

rife without aecting

accuracy, and its

construction alsoensures it is totally

unaected by climatic

changes.

Foldingstock

The chassis eatures

a wear compensated

hinge so the stock can

be olded or parachute

insertions or to acilitate

transportation. The

stock locks in the olded

position or security andthe avoidance o noise

and is easily released by

pulling rmly on the butt.

When olded, the overall

length is reduced by 10"

(250mm).

Butt pad

The sprung buer

system in the

comortable butt pad

allows relatively low

recoil and quick ollow

up shots.

Rear support

Featuring quick

release and ne screw

adjustment modes, the

support leg allows the

user to accurately sight

the target and maintain

observation or extended

periods without undue

atigue. Because o itsstrength, the shot can

be taken with the leg in

contact with the ground

to provide a stable

platorm. For transit, it

can be retracted

close under the butt.

Picatinny rail

A standard interace or

many optical systems,

the Picatinny rail is

machined into the action

or maximum rigidity.

Triggerassembly

The rife is tted with

a two-stage trigger,

which allows a large

sear engagement to be

maintained until the

user takes up the rst

stage. This reduces the

chance o an accidentaldischarge i the rife is

jolted when cocked. The

trigger is adjustable or

pull weights o

3.3-4.4lb (1.5-2.0kg).

The trigger assembly

can be easily removed

or cleaning by undoing

the two socket head cap

screws.

Saetymechanism

The two position saety,

blocks the ring pin

and locks the bolt in the

closed position when

to the rear, and allows

the weapon to re in the

orward position. The

saety will only operatewhen the bolt is cocked.

Stocksides

Designed to provide

a secure grip and a

repeatable shooting

position in all conditions,

the aluminium chassis

is encased in polymer

stocksides which are

impervious to all normal

cleaners and lubricantsused in small arms

maintenance.

Bolt

The 30mm diameter

steel, close tting bolt,

combined with vents and

a gas shroud minimises

blowback in the event

o cartridge ailure.

The short throw (60)

handle lies close to the

stockside just abovethe trigger to minimise

movement o the users

hand.

Sling fxingpoints

Four sling attachment

points are tted as

standard. Two are

mounted on each side

o the weapon, so the

rife can be carried fat

against the back or

security and comortover rough terrain and

long distances.

Magazine

One ve shot detachable

steel magazine is

included. This industry-

leading design is

corrosion resistant and

low riction or reliable

eeding.
