HISTORY
The trading company A. Johnson & Co. was founded in 1873 by AxelJohnson. Industry, ocean shipping and trade were the core businessesduring most of the 20th century.
In 1988 Axel Johnson AB built a new business within trade with consumerproducts through the acquisition of the Saba Group which includedDagab, Saba Trading, Hemköp and Åhléns.
