The annual SYS Football Banquet will be held at 6 p.m Sunday, November 14 at the Haywood High School cafeteria. This year’s guest speaker will be the Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Justin Harrell. Harrell graduated from the University of Tennessee and was a first round pick of the Packers. Tickets will be sold at the door.

The Haywood SYS football program is advancing deeper into the playoffs as the Junior and Peewee teams are still alive, with only one more game to the SYS Super Bowl. The Tomcats face the Memphis Bears this Saturday at the Christian Brothers High School with the winners moving on to the Super Bowl.
