Ticket: a small piece of paper or card
given to someone, usually to show
that they have paid for an event,
journey, or activity.
Passport: an official document
containing personal information and
usually a photograph that allows a
person to travel to foreign countries
and to prove who they are.
Luggage allowance: the weight or
number of cases and bags that you
are allowed to take onto an aircraft
without paying extra.

2.8. Grammar. Events in the future: simple present and present
continuous.
‐ We use the simple present to talk about events at a time later than now,
based on present facts, time-table, schedule, calendar.
Example: The train arrives at 10.00 a. m. tomorrow.
‐ We use the present continuous to talk about plans or arrangements. We
can use time expressions such as:
this afternoon / tonight
tomorrow morning / afternoon/ evening / night / the day after tomorrow
next week / month/ January / year.
in 2, 3, 4 etc… hours / days / weeks / months.
in 2034 (or other year)
on Christmas Eve / February 3rd
at the weekend
Example: Lucy is playing rugby tomorrow morning.
