We are scoping “Similar website like alibaba.com” it is a website that enables the user to

login and register over the site. Buyers will be able to purchase products over the site. Buyers

will be able to filter products categories over the site. Seller will be able to post their products

over the site and able to post their company details. Seller will be able to manage their products

over the site. When buyer will receive their product then they can release payment over the site.

3. Project Executive Summary

We are scoping “Similar website like alibaba.com” it is a website that enables the user to

login and register over the site. Buyers will be able to purchase products over the site. Buyers

will be able to filter products categories over the site. Seller will be able to post their products

over the site and able to post their company details. Seller will be able to manage their products

over the site. Buyers will be able to purchase products and able to pay through escrow system.

When buyer will receive their product then they can release payment over the site.

5. Design Specification

The planned web solution would provide the modern, clean, elegant, and easy to

navigate and user friendly layout with simple and attractive color scheme exactly as per

the requirement so that it would be able to draw the user’s attention with prime and

updated information available on it.

We will provide exotic look for your application that will give eye catching appearance to

users over the application.

The application would be developed using the standard resolution size but we always

welcome our client comments and ideas and work according to the client specification. If

8. Module level description

8.1 Seller MODE

Seller will be of two types Verified and Non –verified.

a. Signup module

User can register to the site by entering E-mail, Password, Contact name, etc. By

registering over the site a User can buy products and access its services.

User will be able to choose either they are Seller, Buyer or Both over the site.

b. Login Module

User can login the site by entering e-mail id / username and password or the User can also login

over the site by connecting through social networking website Facebook.

c. Live Chat:

Seller will be able to do live chat over the site if they have any issue or any problem related to

products or accessing the site.

d. Individual Product page:

Each and every seller has their own page over the site where they will be able to post products

over the site. Seller will be able to manage their company profile/ products/ contact information

over the site.

e. Membership Plan Module:

Seller will be able to become member over the site by becoming gold/ verified member.

f. Post Products Module:

After registration seller will able to view this page where seller will be able to post their products

over the site. Seller will be able to post thousands of products over the site.

When seller will click on “post product now” then on new page will open on new tab. Where

users have to select products from given categories or able to search products from search bar.

When user will select any category then they will be able to vie there sub-categories over the site

when user will select sub-category then, seller can press “Next” button to proceed further.

will be able to view their rating over the site.

o. Learning / Training Center module

Seller will be able to take training over the site that how they can sell their products over the site

and how they can attract more and more buyers over the site.

Buyer will be able to view location of the shop over the site. Buyer will be able to view location

on map.

Buyer will be able to subscribe for alert over the site. Whenever new products/ supplier

o. Rating Module

Buyer will be able to give rating on products which was posted by seller over the site and seller

will be able to view their rating over the site.

ADMINISTRATOR MODE

a. Administrator Login Module

Administrator will be able to login to administrative panel by using a provided username and

password.

b. Membership management Module

The Member Management System would facilitate the admin to add/edit/delete the Member

available in the web solution.

Core Processes of Member Management System:

Add Member: Admin would be able to add Member on the web solution.

Edit Member Details: Admin would be able to edit the Member details.

Delete Member: Admin would be able to delete the Member along with their

details.

c. Buyer profile management Module

Admin will be able to manage all the buyers over the site and able to add/edit/delete any buyer

over the site.

Admin will be able to manage the entire seller over the site and able to add/edit/delete any seller

e. Category management Module

The Category Management System will enable the admin to add/edit/delete the Categories that

are available over the web solution.

Edit Category Details: Admin would be able to edit the Category details.

Delete Category: Admin would be able to delete the Category along with their

f. Product management Module

The Product Management System would facilitate the admin to add/edit/delete the Products

over the web solution.

Add Product: Admin would be able to add product on the web solution.

Edit Product: Admin would be able to edit the Product on the site.

Delete Product: Admin would be able to delete the Product.

g. Order management Module

The Order Management System will enable the admin to view details and delete the Orders

placed over the web solution for purchasing products. This module will enable admin to set an

order as confirmed, pending or completed.

Core Processes of Order Management System:

View Order Details: Admin would be able to view the Order details like order

id, order accepted/declined, delivered/pending.

Delete Order: Admin would be able to delete the Order along with their details.

h. Payment management Module

Admin will be able to manage all the payment over the site. Payment will be escrow. When user

will get their product then they can release there payment over the site.

i. Manage Privacy Policy/Contact Us:

Admin will be able to manage all the policies and contact information over the site, and able to

add/remove/edit any privacy policies and contact information over the site.

j. Manage Location through Map:

Admin will be able to manage shopping center location on the map, and able to

edit/delete/remove any location, shopping center over the site.
