Gardeners love summer for the long, warm days, and we have a piece profiling Roots Produce and Flower Farm in Leavenworth, where you can pick your own fruits and flowers. And for wine enthusiasts, summer is the time to visit some of this area’s wineries and sample the amazing wine being produced in this region. In this issue we feature Nefarious Cellars of Chelan. Not many wineries can claim a wine club with a five-year waiting list, but that speaks volumes about the quality of the wines being produced at this popular winery on Lake Chelan’s south shore.
