the Kappa petrol engine displaces just 1.25 liters and is mated to a

smooth-as-silk 5-speed manual gearbox for sprightly acceleration.

Drivers who prize convenience above all else are offered the

option of an automatic transmission.

The Kappa is a fine example of why Hyundai’s family of engines have won worldwide

renown for their durability, economy and reliability. Featuring innovations such as all-

aluminium construction, a low-friction timing chain and carbon-coated tappets, the Kappa

1.25 liters is at the top of its class in terms of fuel economy and low emissions.
