The BA80 POS screen unites an attrac-tive design with the ruggedness required for retail environments.The energy-saving LED backlighting and a 24-bit color depth ensure an especially brilliant picture.
The BA80 can be run on Wincor Nixdorf BEETLE systems, other vendors‘ POS systems and even conventional PCs. It can be supplied with power directly from the BEETLE with a powered USB cable or from an external power supply unit.
The BA80 has VESA75 mounting holes to attach the display to the BA80 pole mount adapter or various commercially available holders (see the photo on the right with the holder from Ergonomic Solutions). The BA80 can be mounted on the rear of a BA82 or BA83 using a dual display adapter and so requires little installation space. Alternatively, a particularly attractive designer stand is available.
The operating panel for controlling the OSD (on-screen display) and the status LED are positioned on the rear. This pre-vents inadvertent operation by custom-ers, yet enables complete setting of the screen parameters.The BA80 has the approvals required for international use.
The BA80 is an 8.4“ TFT screen that has been desi-gned for use as a customer display as part of Win-cor Nixdorf‘s BA8x family. The BA80 not only proves its value as a customer display - in conjunction with keyboard-based ap-plications, it can also be deployed as a user dis-play. The BA80 can thus also be used as the color successor to the BA69 and MO33.
