Most Baby Animals Look Like Their Parents

Most baby animals in thenatural world look like their parents when they are born. Dolphins are agood example of this.

• Dolphins are born tail first. Soon after it is born its mother will push it to the surface to allow it to breathe.

A baby dolphins is called a calf. It feeds on milk from it’s mother for their first year of it’s life.It stays with it’s mother for up to 8 years until it is able to mate and produce a family of it’s own.

Dolphins travel in groups that we call a pod.These are sometimes family groups of mother, father, children and babies.Dolphins generally live to the age of 30 years.
