I have over six years of childcare experience ranging from infants to teenagers. I believe as a nanny it is our job to help inspire and engage the children that we watch and to make sure that the parents know that not only are their kids going to be guarded from harm but also have their creativity and imaginations engaged, so growth is always occurring. Children are our future and it is important to treat them as such.ExperienceCHILDCARE: LAURA SLAKEY, OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA Took care of her three month old baby Jack four times a week, five hours a day. The duties included childcare i.e. reading to Jack, playing games (outside and in), feeding, and bathing, also I performed light housework, laundry, moping, sweeping, and basic tidying up.

CHILDCARE: BECCA MARSH, ASHLAND, OREGONTook care of her four month old daughter Brynn and three year old son Brian. Duties included: ability to multitask between two children, both with significantly different needs, regarding washing, feeding, and playing and making sure that I was caring for and nurturing Brynn and also challenging Brian with games and activities to keep his mind active. I also did housekeeping, meal prep., and laundry, as well as run errands for the family.

CHILDCARE: SHAWN FOSTER, ASHLAND, OREGONTook care of her 11 year old daughter Kristen, six days a week from 7-am to 6pm. Duties included: Meal prep. breakfast, lunch and, dinner. Also driving her to and from activities, and hosting play-dates. Playing games and coming up with educational activities to stimulate the brain. I also did light housekeeping, and laundry.

CHILDCARE: MIKE HENSON, OAKLAND, CALIFORNIATook care of his two sons ages 11 and 9 and daughter 4. Duties included staying active and coming up with games and activities to do. Taking kids to and from activities. Multitasking with three children. Light housekeeping, meal prep, and laundry.

CHILDCARE: HARRIET SEYMORE, CHICAGO ILLINIOS

I was a live in Nanny two weeks out of every month. I stayed the night, took the kids to their classes, and afterschool activities, I took care of the household, made dinner, and kept a nightly journal for the parents. Every night I would help the children with their homework. There were three kids in total, their ages were 4, 7, and 13.

I love to play games, arts and crafts, I am a very outdoorsy person and think that it is important to stay active. I also love to read out loud and make stories something more than just words on a page, but rather adventures. I also am a good cook, housekeeper (I find it actually therapeutic to clean), and organizer, who is great at multitasking.
