Babytime Storytime Babytime consists of Toddler Time and Lap Time. This storytime program introduces our youngest patrons to the library. Each storytime features songs, stories and fingerplays, with an opportunity for quiet play afterwards. Caregiver par-ticipation is a vital and important part of the program. Non-Teaneck residents will be placed on a waiting list until space becomes available. A library card is required at registration. Registration begins September 24, 2018

Lap Time, for babies who are not yet walking, meets the following Thur sdays at 11 a.m. on 10/11, 10/18, 10/25, 11/1, 11/8 & 11/15

Toddler Time, for walkers up to age 2 1/2, meets on Tues-days. Caregivers may sign up for either the 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. session. Meets on 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, & 11/13

Mother Goose Storytime This storytime for 2 1/2 to 3 year olds is a transition storytime for children who have aged out of Babytime but are not yet ready for Pre-School Storytime. Thursdays at 10 a.m. on 10/11, 10/18, 10/25, 11/1, 11/8 & 11/15

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

Reading at an early age greatly benefits a child’s development and

allows you to bond with your child. We encourage you to join

the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten initiative. Children from birth to age 5 (and their parents)

can sign up at Teaneck Library and read any time, anywhere (Any books – re-reading

Lego Club is for kids age 6 and up. Meets once a month. Kids can sign up for the Thursday 4 p.m. club or the Monday 7 p.m. club. Monday meetings are 10/15, 11/5, & 12/3 and Thursday meetings are 10/18, 11/8, & 12/6. Registration begins on 9/24.
