-Our multimedia experience is called Back Home

-It is a system that is aimed towards college freshman and transfer students

-It helps them thru their next chapter of starting college with the support of your home

-we have all been through this scary, yet exciting time in our lives, and want to help all students feel at ease during this big transition

-she is 18 years old,

-just graduated from high school,

-and ready to hit the road and start her freshman year of college at UMKC

-she wants to be independent, and try something new, so she chose to go out of state for college.

-however, she has no idea what to expect

-our idea will create an online space where students can easily search for clubs and activities the college and surrounding colleges oer

-it will also help students, like Sarah, find people that might be from their hometown

-being involved in a club or finding friends that are from your hometown will help comfort students

-it will make them feel at ease knowing that they can relate to other students, and they will have fun talking about their hometowns.
