class (30 minutes, twice a week)
Assessment• Report cards are based on demonstrated
proficiency of state standards.
• Report card has been updated to reflect new state standards and parent information meetings are scheduled.

• California Standards Testing (Smarter Balanced)– Math and English Language Arts
– Does not influence report card
6th Grade Trip to Walker Creek
• October 19-23, 2015• Informational meeting for students
and parents: Friday, Sept. 25, 1:30 p.m.
• $385 per student (fund-raisers?)• Must be paid in full prior to
departure– Last day for all types of payment is
October 9th.
• High School Chaperones– Whitney H.S. juniors and seniors
• Any medications, prescription or OTC, need to be signed off by a physician.
