Backend EngineerTwentyThree is looking for a Backend Developer to join our team in Copenhagen to maintain, expand, and revolutionise our platform. If you are interested in real-time services, data processing, code optimisation, micro-services and video processing, TwentyThree presents an opportunity to build a platform for a global audience. We believe in the right tool for the right job, and our services are spread out across multiple programming languages and frameworks. We’re looking for someone with an eagerness to learn, willingness to adapt, and a strong drive to build a product for the world’s best marketers.
Requirements
• Has built web services before using either Python, Node.js or Tcl
• Experience with SQL, ideally PostgreSQL and Redis
• Ideally has some experience scaling SaaS
applications and web services
• Knowledge of front-end development stack (HTML/
CSS/javascript)
• Knowledge of version control system, ideally git
• Knowledge of React and Bootstrap is a plus.
• Knowledge of Linux administration and Salt is a
plus
• Knowledge of video formats, transcoding and
ffmpeg (or similar tools) is a plus
The ideal candidate is:
• Willing to take an active role in development of one or more services
• Ambitious, responsible and has a can do attitude
• Eager to cooperate with the frontend team to
create the best web experience
• Values clear and concise communication with both
coworkers and customers
• Problem and customer oriented and willing to jump
into solving critical issues
