Design A design is represented by a bill of materials (BOM), the detailed Configuration management Database CMDB, conceptual and detailed drawings and the preliminary project plan.

Implement The implementation is the refinement and detailed completion of the Project Plan and the expert execution of said plan. Outputs include completed test and acceptance documentation.

Manage The management of a solution includes monitoring, operation, support and remediation for the lifetime of the solution, application or infrastructure element.
