Any monthly observance can be a theme for your meeting or event. July has a lot of

themes you can incorporate with outdoor activities such as cooking and visiting your local

parks. Many of our outdoor activities revolve around July 4th, Independence Day, in the

United States. Look through the provided PDF or your self-created list and find one thatinterests you. How can you build a theme around your chosen observance?

You can plan a meeting, party or event based on a monthly celebration theme. You might

want to do one or more activities based on your observance. You may choose to focus

an entire event around it. Dont limit yourself to the stated themes. For example, National

Recreation and Parks Month may have you visiting local parks and amusement parks to

see what they offer or just visit to relax and enjoy nature.
