The BAFTA Scholarship Programme in China is offering support for Chinese nationals, whoare in need of financial assistance, to study a post-graduate course in the UK related to acareer in film, television or games.

Each scholarship will provide up to £20,000 towards annual tuition fees, a bursary of up to£10,000 for living expenses, an industry mentor, and free access to BAFTA events for a year.In return, scholarship recipients are required to contribute to the BAFTA Guru onlinelearning channel and take part in BAFTA’s outreach activity to young people.

Applicants must be:

Chinese nationals, as defined by the Nationality Law of the People’sRepublic of China. This includes Chinese nationals who are resident in HongKong.Intending to study an industry-recognised postgraduate-level course in theUK.

Students who receive a scholarship in the first year of a two-year course will be consideredfor a further scholarship for their second year. Students who need financial support to enterthe second year of a two-year course are also eligible to apply.

Applicants must provide the following documents in support of their application:
