Incremental Operator ConsoleMigration (HMI Refresh)

Replacing your current Bailey operator

interface is easier than you imagined.

Simply connect the OPC interface through

a Bailey computer interface unit. Then

migrate the existing console database

using Honeywell’s bulk builder tool, which

simplifies the database transition to

Honeywell Experion. Once you’ve migrated

to Experion stations, you can take

advantage of Honeywell’s innovative

HMIWeb graphics technology and superior

alarm management capabilities to make

your operators more effective.

Incremental Controller Migration

After you’ve migrated your operator console,

you can focus on replacing your Bailey

controllers with Experion® C300 controllers.

You can conduct this migration as time and

resources allow, with Experion controllers

integrated alongside Bailey controllers until

the process is complete.

C300 controllers have numerous

improvements to your old Bailey MFC and

MFP controllers, including Honeywell’s

patented Profit® Loop algorithm. Replacing

the Bailey controllers with the Experion

C300 controllers enables improved process

performance with embedded batch

functionality, advanced control, and field

network communications such as HART,

FOUNDATION fieldbus, DeviceNet and

Profibus.

Unit OperationsWiring Migration Kits

Migration kits (shown below) allow direct

connection from your existing Bailey

termination unit to the corresponding

Honeywell I/O module. This enables

migration of your system while leaving your

existing field wiring undisturbed. Additionally,

the Honeywell Series C Hart I/O exposes

Hart information previously unusable by the

Bailey system.
