A very big ‘thank you’ from ENI for your support for this, our 14th Bali Workshop and we do apologise for the weather on Wednesday – fortunately we were able to persuade Ibu Indy to put her BBQ on the Tuesday evening rather than her original preference for Wednesday... From what we observed during the 2½ days, there was vigorous, friendly and intense discussion and interaction between all parties – you as the funders and supporters of the Workshop, the 27 Indonesian counsellors, the two Honorary Consuls and their PAs, and the staff from the NZ Embassy and Immigration in Jakarta. We often hear criticism from some agencies that NZ institutions do not support them – primarily in attending their fairs. However, it is worth pointing out (to them if appropriate) that over the past 4 years, NZ institutions have funded 79 counsellors from the five large agencies (SUN, Edlink, Vista, ALPHALINK, Fortrust) to attend the Bali Workshops. In current terms, that is something like Rp3-4,000,000 per counsellor. We think that this has been a considerable degree of support. Last year we said that the March Workshop was probably our last – the interest, support and feedback this year leads us to suspect (and hope) that we might even do one next February ...please let us know if you are interested. The change to end-January for the Education NZ fairs appears to be a fait accompli, so our Workshop is likely to be Monday 30th January evening through till mid day Thursday 2 February 2017. Again, thank you for your continued support and we wish you well in your travels and the building up of the Indonesian student market. Kind regards William (Bill) Russell Paul Bryant Chair Director

It is much faster if you can use either side of the road – the poor bus drivers were stressed at times!
