Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Situation:An apartment building in Baltimore, Maryland, experienced
yellow water coming from its cold water lines. The 15-year-old
galvanized steel pipes had extensive corrosion and rust, which
caused the yellow water. The pipes are hidden behind drywall
and in concrete chases, making them difcult to access.
Solution:Nu Flow rehabilitated more than 1,000 feet of piping withou
causing destruction to the building or severe disruption to the
residents. Using existing access points, the corroded pipes
were cleaned and then lined with Nu Flows epoxy barrier
coating. This will prevent corrosion, rust and other failures.
